Your rights to return faulty or unwanted goods, and how to contact us about a return or repair.
Last updated: June 2026
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. If you are a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you legal rights in relation to goods that are not as described, not of satisfactory quality, or not fit for purpose. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. These rights apply in addition to any guarantee or warranty we provide.
If you are a consumer and bought online, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To do so, let us know within that period using the contact details below. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods, and we will refund you within 14 days of receiving them back (or proof that you have returned them). We may reduce the refund to reflect any handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Certain items, such as goods made to your specification or bespoke configurations, may be excluded from this right where the law permits.
If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or is not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as you can and we will put it right in line with your statutory rights. Where an item is faulty or we have made an error, we will cover the cost of return.
Our products are covered by a manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The applicable guarantee period and terms depend on the product; details are provided with your product or are available from us on request. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, neglect, normal wear and tear, use beyond the product's rated capacity, or unauthorised modification or repair. Our guarantee is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.
We offer calibration and repair services for our equipment, both within and outside any guarantee period. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and, where relevant, to obtain a quotation.
To arrange a return, refund, or guarantee claim, please contact us with your order number and details of the issue. We will then explain the next steps, including where to send the item. We recommend you obtain proof of postage when returning goods.
Where you are buying as a business rather than as a consumer, consumer cancellation rights do not apply, and returns are handled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and any agreement between us.
