Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our products and services

Products

What is a pull tester used for?
A pull tester is used to verify the holding strength of fixings installed into various substrates such as concrete, masonry, and steel. This is essential for ensuring structural safety in construction, particularly for scaffolding, curtain walling, and cladding installations.
Which pull tester is right for me?
The right tester depends on the maximum load you need to test. Our t25 is suitable for loads up to 25kN, while the t60 handles loads up to 60kN. Contact our team for guidance on choosing the right model for your application.
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes. Our products are covered by a manufacturer's guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The guarantee period and terms depend on the product — details are provided with your product or are available from us on request. The guarantee does not cover misuse, accident, normal wear and tear, or use beyond the product's rated capacity, and it is in addition to your statutory rights. See our Returns & Warranty Policy for full details.

Calibration

How often should I calibrate my pull tester?
We recommend annual calibration to ensure your equipment remains within specification. More frequent calibration may be required depending on your industry standards or if the equipment has been subject to heavy use or impact.
How do I book a calibration?
You can book a calibration through your account dashboard under Equipment & Calibration, or contact us directly. We offer both in-house and return-to-base calibration services.
What is a UKAS calibration?

Ordering & Shipping

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure checkout. For B2B customers, we also offer payment on invoice with agreed terms.
How long does delivery take?
We aim to dispatch orders promptly once payment is confirmed. Delivery timescales are shown at checkout (or on request) and are estimates rather than guarantees. Some products are made to order or supplied with calibration, which can add to the lead time — if your order will take longer to prepare, we'll let you know. See our Shipping Policy for more.
Do you ship internationally?

Returns & Support

What is your returns policy?
If you're a consumer and bought online, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 — let us know within that period, return the goods within a further 14 days, and we'll refund you within 14 days of receiving them back. Goods should be returned unused and in their original condition. If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us and we'll put it right in line with your statutory rights and cover the cost of return. Business-customer returns are handled under our Terms & Conditions. See our Returns & Warranty Policy for full details.
How do I get technical support?
You can contact our technical support team by phone or email during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm GMT). For urgent issues, we recommend calling us directly.
